Guarantees

The issue of Guarantees is discretionary and relies on fulfilment of a number of criteria. As per our COE wording, guarantee letters may be offered in most cases, as and when deemed to be required. However, it is subject to the claim being covered under our policy and payment of outstanding premiums and other amounts due. A bank guarantee will only be offered if the insurance company’s’ guarantee letter is rejected by the claimant. Cash payments and/or cash bonds will not be provided.

Each request for a guarantee will be considered and all pros and cons investigated on its merits. Only if it is established that the member's assets are subject to arrest or attachment, a guarantee will be provided.
